This year’s Hackney One carnival to be on Sunday 8th September 2018. This year, 2019 carnival features Hackney’s very best of Talented young musicians from nearby schools, acts, an all-day play area and a party with global food as well as Caribbean street food, English food, arts, culture and crafts..

Place: Hackney carnival route – Main Streets of Haggerston Park, Queensbridge Road, Richmond Road, Mare Street, Amhurst Road, Dalston Lane and Ridley Road.
Normally Hackney one carnival parade is with a beautiful array of colourful costumes. There’s to be films showing of other cultures from other nations such as Abuja and Calabar Carnivals from Nigeria, Trinidad, Brazilian Rio, Italian and others.
The procession starts: usually Starts in Queensbridge Road – Near Richmond Road
If you like your heavy music from sound systems then it will be played around Bohemia Place & Bradbury Street.
Last year some sound systems played beautiful music across Hackneys streets for all to dance the day away.
Last years procession was held around Hackney roads like Haggerston Park, Queensbridge Road, Richmond Road, Mare Street, Amhurst Road, Dalston Lane, Queensbridge Road and Haggerston Park. 2018 locations was mainly Ridley Road.
There will be road closures such as Dalston Lane, Ridley Road, Graham Road and on Richmond Road E8.
